Airton Corrêa Schuch reached out to Legado in 2022 to have his book written. Airton had visited more than 100 cities (!) throughout his life. And for each of them, he recorded a recipe from the local traditional cuisine.

His book was called “Histórias do Velho” (Tales of the Old Man), and Airton's idea was to leave his memories recorded for his descendants. 

Airton passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 82, as his family informed us. He left behind a beautiful legacy of someone who not only got to know the world, but also knew how to enjoy it very well.
